OPEN GATHERINGS

Creative Collective L.A’s “OPEN” Gatherings provide the local Los Angeles community inspired nights of creative expression while doubling as an ideal platform to fulfill the CCLA mission. 

Our Open Gatherings feature live music, DJ's, dance performances, art showings, silk screening, interactive art, guided meditations and yoga classes, designers, healers, psychics and much more.  

Our “OPEN” Gatherings are designed to unify artists of all mediums and help others engage their own creative outlet in a drug and alcohol free environment. 

ART BRUT IS BORN

De-institutionalization and nurturing artists of all medium who are currently serving time in jails and prisons or homeless on the streets. Art brute provides safe spaces and supplies for homeless on the street and incarcerated artists behind bars to reengage or explore their creativity.

We hope that those we serve turn more and more to the paint brush rather than the sword:-)

 

THE PEOPLES MARKET

 
The Peoples Market Is The Very First For Profit, Non-Profit Vendor-Owned Farmer Market Chain IN LOS ANGELES. THEY Reinvest THE NET PROFITS EVENLY BETWEEN Themselves And Their Customers. The money that is being paid to market owners today could just as easily be kept in house for the farmers of each individual market< to use as the collectively decide on health insurance, day care, emergency relief and of course advertising and marketing to bring even more money into their respective markets.

We would only open in locations that are collectively voted on by the farmers themselves. The amount of producers would be regulated to ensure the common practice of "Stacking" Vendors would stop. Everyone knows that there is less money to go around with every new producer selling the same products. This looks great for the owners and managers but it is a frustrating situation for the producers who have to fight amongst themselves to make a living.

The Lotus flower of Silver Lake embodies positive elements of many successful programs of recovery and universal truths that when applied to a person’s core belief system affects positive results. This process works deeper to challenge the false which has been accepted as truth and is working subconsciously, usually in a self defeating manor. 

Our intense approach carries the depth and weight that people long for. It gives our resident creators much needed structure that they would never give themselves. Our primary aim is to facilitate a permanent correction followed up with gradual growth through the application of applied principles and creative action.

We Help The Tortured Artist Who Is Almost Always A Survivor Of Childhood Trauma. we Help Artists Of All Mediums Realize Their Creative Potential, Offer Positive Support And Constructive Outlets For The NECESSARY NOURISHMENT OF OUR CREATIVE NATURE. 

Lacking healthy alternatives and practical tools to cope, we usually forgo our artistic aspirations 

WHICH MANY TIMES LEADS TO LIVING A LIFE OF: Increased criminal activity to support our Escalating intoxicant addictions to deal with an Increasingly negative view of ourselves and our environment. 

This lethal combination usually results in death via overdose, suicide or murder. 

This vicious cycle often becomes a life long struggle these men and woman never recover from.

The Live love L.A mission is to convert closed down commercial structures into affordable live/work cultural arts hubs complete with classrooms, art and film galleries, retail, work and performance space, youth hostile, farm, botanical classroom and more. This a place where we can connect to one another in a supportive environment that fosters community spirit, creative action and self sufficiency.
